Yay! Volcano Suns finally see the reissue of their seminal first two LP's, The Bright Orange Years and All-Night Lotus Party. Volcano Suns is the project that Peter Prescott formed after Mission of Burma. More straightfoward and lighthearded than MOB, but powerful and hooky, perhaps even more so at times. Urgent post-punk pop dirgy goodness. Listened to these albums endlessly my senior year of high school and only got to see them once up in Berkeley Square to about 10 other people.
