I don't get eBay. Wasn't ebay at one point supposed to be a place to get a good deal? Maybe it's the stuff I search for, but ebay is overrun by people who overprice and overcharged for shipping and "handling". The only value I can see in ebay these days is to gauge what stuff is going for (albeit overpriced), especially with "completed listings".
I've had numerous instances, especially with music equipment, video games, and CD's, where I've found MUCH better deals on Craigslist, niche message boards, or Amazon.com. So what use is ebay then? I don't get it...
So my message to ebay sellers is this: Yeah, I notice you keep listing that G&L Comanche over and over again at that inflated price, but guess what? The economy is bad and I'm patient. Want to sell? Do you REALLY want to sell? Lower it, make it a "buy it now" and maybe I'll consider, especially since I can get a CUSTOM ORDER G&L with the exact color I want for CHEAPER than what you have it... C'mon!
